I became a new rat mommy over the holiday season, and I absolutely adore my furry little daughter :) As of now, I work a lot and try to make plenty of time to bond with her, even if it keeps me up till the wee hours of the morning. I've been feeding her the Rat/Mouse mixture (from recommendations with my friend who's a vet tech and biologist) with some small mixture of table food like veggies, and the occasional treat of peanut butter. She has her wheel in a big cage and I have her out as much as I can, even if she just naps on me. So my question is for any other rat owner, any pointers to watch out for food wise and health wise? What is the best toy and chew blocks for rats? Even best websites for rat care and health? Thanks!
