~Before I get started, please do not tell me the following: there are millions of animals which can be adopted from shelters, there's no reason to breed, yada yada yada. Also, please don't ask whether I can 'handle' a litter or whether they (the kittens) have homes to go to because yes, they do. ~OK, so yesterday I brought home a 1 year old male British Shorthair home from a close friend. My female British Shorthair (also 1, having a naturally aggressive attitude towards other cats) began to hiss at him. She's not that much smaller than he is but she's scared which is the reason to her aggressive behaviour. This is also making the male scared (keep in mind that he's so sweet, he wouldn't hurt a soul). Some of you may say, that I had to bring the female to the male but that unfortunately wasn't possible, due to personal reasons. Now the question follows: ~How do I get these two to mate if one of them hates the other?~ Thanks. ~Kona PS: the female was in heat when we brought the male
