My newfoundland puppy is 10 weeks old. The first few days I fed him he had no issues, I took him to my parents for the day and while eating he growled at my little sister. Ever since then he has been showing signs of food aggression. Stiffening when approached during eating, growling, eating faster, and snapping. I have been working with him and he has gotten a lot better but only with me. He is the worst with My two daughters aged 1 and 3, and my husband. Anyway today at feeding I was sitting down with his food bowl and he was patiently sitting and waiting a couple feet away for the okay to eat, my 1 year old walked by and he attacked her! Snarling teeth and all, thankfully he didn't do any damage. But being a newfoundland he is going to be a very big powerful dog and today just discouraged and scared me for the future. Please we love him and don't want to get rid of him, this needs to be corrected fast he is already a good 20 pounds. I need advice that will WORK.
