on 150 mgs of caprofen (rimadyl). I stopped the meds, (he had about 6 episodes overnight, well, that's how many accidents I cleaned up this morning. poopy places, all watery.) He's a 9 1/2 y/o Doberman with crepitus in the shoulder elbow and wrist joint, neuropathy in the shoulder all in the right front leg. He's gimpy but the vet said there's no reason to think about euth yet, he still has good quality of life. Nothing is different in his routine except the rimadyl. How long will he have the runs? He's been laying around most of the day, he had immodium at 8 am & again at 4 pm. He had one incident of diarrhea this afternoon. Yikes I have to work tomorrow and hate to have to come home to the mess. He had 1/2 cup of plain rice for dinner. Vets or techs only please, teens do not give your advice please. Just pros. I am not giving nor will give pumpkin so please don't suggest that. I only need to know how long the runs will last.
