So i know that there is a overpopulation problem but if worse comes to worse could they not spay/neuter them and set them free in a park or woods to live as wild animals? I know it sounds very far fetched but imagine being the animal...not only lonely,forgotton and scared but then pinned down and forcibly killed just so some animal can have your ? I often hear 'a fate worse then death' but is there REALLY a worse fate? These animals atleast have a chance in the woods and could not breed becuase they are sterilized. Now this would be easier for a cat then a dog and easier for a husky then a chihuahua but still? Only the baby animals coulden't but keep those till thry could survive on their own or get adopted.
