Hello! Just want to give ya'll some background about my cute piggie, Luna Bell. She's my first guinea pig, I got her back in September. She's just a bit over three months old. I clean her house every 3 days and she has a huge, and I mean huge, play area for her to run around in. She has tons of Timothy Hay and I give her greens everyday. She has a feeding schedule and I'm always on time about it. Anyways, She bites me all the time. And I don't mean nibbles!! She's drawn blood a couple times and it honestly made me scared to handle her, but I do anyways. She hates to be cuddled and won't stand to be cuddled up in a blanket on my lap. I understand that not all guinea pigs like to cuddle, and that's okay, but I've also been told that they aren't supposed to bite. I usually wait to hold her after she's run around for a while and I offer her an apple slice after I try to hold her. She seems happy all the time! She's constantly popcorning and making happy noises. Does she bite me because she doesn't want to be held at all? Am I missing the boat on something? I love her so much and I want her to like me! I know she's just a baby, but I do want to make she I'm doing everything right for her! Thanks so much. Xoxo
