okay so about 9 hours ago my cat, Danald, got outside. Recently we moved to a place where literally EVERYTHING is around us, there are a ton of businesses and stuff, but behind our house are woods and this pond type thing that's frozen right now. Anyway, at our old house my cat use to go outside A LOT like it was a hassle trying to get him to stay inside unless it was cold out. I have no idea why he went outside this morning, we've lived here for over 3 months and he has shown no interest in being outside. There is a building across the street from us that has a cat shelter in the yard. We also live up 2 flights of stairs, do you think he would remember that's where he came from ? So if he has 'experience' in being outside would he travel really far or stay in the area because of not knowing where he is ? Could he make it home by himself possibly ? Ive looked for him a ton today, thankfully we didn't find him on the road or anything, but where else could he be ?
