Question: It has been couple of days that my cat starts to lick the air or my hand when I comb her, is this normal or something is wrong?

I have been combing my cat every morning and she loves it. But it has been couple of days that when I comb her right side closer to her belly, she starts to lick the air or my hand!. She had a skin tumor (mast cell tumor) in the right side of her body which has been removed in September and she also been neutered and the area where she start licking when I touch it is also right side of her body close to where the tumor was. I am wondered if this is a normal reaction or if I need to take her to a vet for a check up?
