I've been thinking about trying my mare in spurs for this first year. She runs amazing in the arena when there isn't a show and she rates great especially at the second barrel. She is very very fast though I was thinking about just keeping her at a lope and trying out spurs. I've just started her on barrels this past December and to be honest she's doing wonderful considering that. I was just trying to see what others thought are. It is like she doesn't want to pay attention when we have shows. I have only been doing the shows were I board her which could be apart of the problem. Also if I did try her on spurs which ones would be the best option?
