I live in the uk and for my birthday my mum said I could get a pet hedgehog! I'm so excited because I've always wanted one but I don't know EVERYTHING about them. I was wondering if someone experienced could help me and explain how to correctly look after one, how to set up its home and what toys to give it to play with, what to feed it and any name ideas? I have watched hundreds of how to videos on YouTube and i know a little bit about them but it only really tell me thing about hedgehogs living in the US. Does anyone have any food brands they would recommend for hedgehogs? What age should I buy it? how much do they cost? will a boy or girl be better? do they smell? what cage would be best? sorry for all the questions i would really love some help thanks! also here are my hedgehog name ideas and feel free to tell me anymore (nothing like sonic or spike) :) for a girl: luna, mabel, carrie, willow, cassie or ivy for a boy: klaus, rudy, rufus, poko, storm or cook
