How long should it take for dog's open wound to heal on ear?

Do not tell me to go to the vet please. There is no infection nor any other alarming health cues that my dog's actually sick from these wounds. Obviously, if it looks like it is becoming infected or her overall health is actually showing signs of complications, I most certainly will take her in. Also, I am not a believer in drugs/antibiotics and therefore, always choose a natural way especially when it comes to the health and body. Ok, my dog is almost 6 years old and for the first time in her life, she has these two open wounds behind one of her ears (not in the ear, the outer) towards the bottom (one is dime sized and the one above it is about a nickel size) they first appeared as very small raised lumps, but not fully raised (I had to lift her ear vertically to notice it). I literally had noticed it only after our evening walk that night, there was no sign of it being there just hours beforehand. Well, I didn't panic and thought maybe it was just a minor irritation from a plant or bush from our walk, or something along those lines (although we literally walk and in various terrains and she never gets allergic reactions) so I just of course, kept an eye on it. Long story short, she managed to scratch the area to the point of it bleeding and kept shaking her head causing it to further bleed all over again. So, I began keeping her still on her bed for the most part of the days (she's an indoor dog) and began doing warm water epsom salt compresses 4 times a day. The wounds themselves were beginning to show signs of healthy tissue formation from what I can say (darker pink) and there no longer continued to be any bleeding or discharge. Apart from a clear like pink liquid that seeps over the wound that I keep dabbing off (which I am holding that to be the healthy discharge as it's healing from the inside out) and it doesn't have an offensive smell whatsoever. I also put the Elizabeth collar on her when I can't keep an eye on her and she obviously can't lick it and I haven't kept it covered. Now however, it's been about a week and a half and the wound although it has improved, but in a minor form (the size is somewhat smaller and it is no longer inflamed nor bleeding) I feel as if it's not healing as fast as it should be (I have been dabbing the area with warm epsom salt water 3-4 times a day still and keeping it dry). However, I never dealt with this before, so I can't say for certain the exact timeline and expected healing stages and that is my main concern. The inside of the ear where the wounds are, in the outside, is not swollen at all nor is the surrounding area and her temp has been normal. I am starting to wonder if maybe I am cleaning it too much and preventing the healing to just take it's course? but, I am only cleaning it with epsom salt and water, so it shouldn't truly harm or prevent healing? I also notice, when we wake up, the wound looks a lot smaller as if it's already ready to completely shut close, but I believe it's only because of the crusty drainage that seems to begin forming around the wounds themselves. Which I almost forgot, is the yellow like crust formation healthy scabbing or should I continue to clean them off?
