I bought a 6 month old kitten, at night I put him in my laundry room, he has everything he needs in there, but he whines all night. I can easily get sleep because I'm not next to the room, but I feel bad that he is sad. Any ideas? I'm not going to buy another kitty to be with him! I've looked at a few other things, they say let him sleep with you. No, I will not, I've never let any pet sleep with me and I don't have to. I don't want to do anything cruel to my animal, but this isn't cruel. Please, do not say to let him sleep with me, I have a 3 year old daughter that I love way more than this cat, I don't let her sleep with me, I'm not gonna let the cat. I also will not let him have run of the house why I'm sleeping, for obvious reasons. So, for the kitty's sake, is there anything I can do? besides the above! He seriously gets plenty of attention during the day, so what can I do about the night? I feel bad, but if there is no other options I guess he'll just have to get used to it.
