I caught a baby mouse...What if i keep it as a pet?

i had some bigger ones in my house that i killed with traps...i felt so bad...i hate killing animals...anyway...a few days later i see this tiny little baby mouse running around...no bigger than a cotton ball...i know people don't recommend wild mice as pets but i figure that since its so young it might work out...i want to keep him or her...i actually feel like i have a connection with it (i have already caught it)...and no one else will care for it since i likely killed its family...do you think since its so young it will get used to me?...any advice that i should know?
