I would like to purchase only breeding pairs as I plan to start my own cattery. I've checked online websites such as the national cat association, however, the links to breeders there would only sell me cats who are pre-spayed or neutered, no option to change or negotiate about it, at your own expense. I would need cats that have an good breeding line/pedigree. The website provided me with catteries from people who were champion showsman/women, but again it's no use to me if they do not sell breeding cats. I'd be willing to pay more for a pair that could breed. There are some websites which claim to sell real native egyptian maus, but I know those breeds most likely have health issues. I understand the american lines have been carefully selected, and that a sire with problems would not be bred again, so the line would stay more pure. Also, the ones you find in shelters and petfinder, really don't have pedigrees, or any paperwork that could prove they are 100% mau breeds, from a good line, or that were champions. Does anyone know any breeders? I'd greatly appreciate some help! Thanks!
