Earlier today my step father attacked me. After an argument he lunged at me and punched me several times, he was taken away by the police. However, during this altercation my family dog was defensive and it was a cluster-f, he bit my mother at some point. She's saying she doesn't want to go to the hospital because they'll put him down (i know that her health is more important than the dogs, but she refuses to listen.) In pennsylvania law would the dog be put down for this? It was NOT an unprovoked attack. My step father attacked me and wrestled me to the ground, the dog got confused and went into a sort of attack mode, but that's because of the assault. PLEASE help, this could be life or death
