Before you start saying "Take him to the vet!" he is GOING to go to the vet in a few days when my parents will have a opening from work. I noticed it last night, then today it seems to have gotten worse. The left side of his face is very swollen, he is half siamese so his face is pretty skinny and so you can tell it is there, and he keeps sticking his tongue out a little bit and leaving it like that and his eye is a little bit more closed than the other one. I tried looking at the inside of his mouth a bit, and noticed I think his gums are pretty swelled but I didn't want to hurt him so I didn't look much. My Dad is convinced it is a tumor, and my Mom thinks maybe his tooth is infected or something. He's 10 years old, and I've had him basically his whole life. He is usually an indoor/outdoor cat, but since its Winter, he hasn't gone out in several months. Like i said, I am taking him to the vet. But does anyone know what this may be? What I should prepare myself for? Could it be bad?
