For the past 3 months he hasn't been acting right. He started out having really bad diarrhea, then it turned into regular poop. But he still wanted out like every couple hours, an his entire life he's never went out so often. Now he has an odor that's just disgusting. He's even started turning around like when he figures he can't get it to all come out he goes back there an eats it straight from his butt. He cries a lot of the time like he's in pain. At first we thought it was just cause of his joints hurting him, but now I'm wondering if it's not something more serious. He is swollen on one side of his butt, my daughter which is going to school to be a vet tech says thAt she thinks it's his anal gland, but from reading what everyone else is saying about that problem. I just don't think it's his anal gland. Could someone help me, cause every time my dog cries, it's making me cry. Please help me,I don't want to have to put my animal to sleep but I can't stand to see or hear him in pain
