Please help me, For those of you blessed to have a labrador you will also understand the negatives that come with owning a dog that will eat pretty much everything and anything. I had about 1m of tinsel and christmas (fairy) lights wrapped around my christmas tree (which I have been very slack in putting down) Last night I came home and my dog had managed to munch up most of it, including a number of balls, tinsel and the lights! ugh! She seemed pretty happy and proud of herself and it was hard to tell what had been eaten and what had just been chewed and disgarded around the house. This morning I went out to have a cigarette and whilst outside my dog started pooping, she was struggling a little and sure enough out came a christmas ball, some tinsel - but here is my problem - the christmas lights are hanging out but wont come out fully. She is literally running around with a half metre of christmas lights tagging along behind her out her ***! I've managed to try and have a tug of it, it seems pretty lodged in, i got curious and plugged the power plug end (which managed to come out of her) into a power point and lo and behold it still works! but her eyes, ears, mouth and nose flash colours - she seems to enjoy it and it's become apparent this could be a pretty cool party trick! Is it unsafe to leave the lights inside her for the pure pleasure of having a light up party dog?? Please help me and Disco Dawg!
