Hey I have a 7 month old English Springer Spaniel! She started off with wet food and used to scoff down all of her dinner! We have weaned her on to dry food, she's been on it for a while now and seems to like it. She has two meals a day. She never eats her breakfast and if she does it's only 2 or 3 mouthfulls... However, she scoffs down all of her dinner! We want her to eat all of her dinner but we're finding it difficult! She will eat it if its in my hand (all of it) but wont finish it all in her bowl! We pick her bowl up after 20 minutes so that she knows she cant come back to it. She's starting to pick up on that! On the back of the dry dog food it says for her weight 220g - 445g a day... we give her 220g for breakfast and 220g for dinner... is that too much? Do we have to give her about 445g? or... We're really confused about how many grams to give her! we dont want her to get fat but we're worried because she's not eating much! Shes perfectly healthy and has no problems! She's just being a bit stubborn we think. HELP?!
