I used to own a black cat for about 4-5 years but suddenly he went missing. I've been in the same neighborhood since then and last year I decided to get a new cat, I went to the humane society and decided to get 2 cats that were brothers. One of the cats was black with white only on its paws and the other was a mix of brown and white but 4 days ago like my last black cat the black one went missing. I live in the country and I was just wondering how often is it that people kill black cats, I think my previous black cats were killed because whenever I saw my old cat he was always with his brother and never left his side so if they were attacked the brown one would at least have some type of scratch mark or bruise or something of the sorts...
