I have a little white fur ball for a dog and he absolutely loves everyone... Everyone except my boyfriend that is. I don't know what has gotten into my dog lately, he loved my boyfriend the first summer we started dating and now 2 years later all he does is growl and sometimes tries to bite my boyfriend. It looks like a territorial problem because my grandma just moved in with us and my dog is very protective of her (she is very sick). The other day my boyfriend walked into the kitchen, which was where my grandma was sitting and my dog started biting at his ankles. And today I was trying to get my boyfriend to give my dog little bites of chicken as a peace offering but my dog ended up biting him (grandma was no where in site this time, it was just me and my boyfriend sitting by the fire) I don't understand why he is doing this, nor how to fix it! Please help! I really don't know what to do. I had a talk with my boyfriend today and I told him that I was really sorry my dog bit him, I really don't know what to do about it but I also said that my dog is really tiny and I don't want my boyfriend to get really frustrated one day and end up hurting my dog. He told me that he would never hurt him and that since he is a small dog he doesn't mind the biting so much. I'm just worried that something is going to get out of hand whether it be my dog biting and breaking skin or my boyfriend getting a temper. Please how do I fix this??? Also, my boyfriend has never harmed any one of my family, including my dog. He likes my dog too (not so much at the moment but he puts up with him). The only reason I say that I worry about things getting out of hand is because of my dogs recent behavior and my boyfriend will try to show him dominance, (this is what he would do with his dog but his dog is much much much bigger than mine, so I don't want him to accidentally hurt my dog because he is used to his big dog) but anyways this can't be an it's me of the dog situation. What do I do???
