Im 14 years old and I love horses. I asked my parents if I could quit cheerleading and take riding lessons but they refused. I don't think it's because they're scared because I am good with horses and I've owned them in the past. Also there are no stables nearby. I asked my cousin/ neibor if I could ride his horse(he has two but one is really wild) and he said yes but I wasn't sure if he was joking or being serious. I have ridden his horse once in the past but it has been a few years and nobody rides her anymore. I go up there and visit and brush them but I'm pretty sure I'm the only one that actually grooms them. Would I be able to rebreak her? How do I train them if so? I would be riding bare back by the way. Any tips help!
