I don't know y he died. I was laying in my bed with my hamster and I put him in a cover but his face wasn't covered. I started playing on my phone and he moved a little and walked to a gap in the covers. I didn't think it was abnormal of him to do this but he did something that sounded as if he hiccuped or squeaked and I picked him up as i quickly looked at him and felt that his heart was not beating. I've had three hamsters before him and he was only one year old the others died from old age and am confused on y my hamster died. about thirty minutes before this though I tried to feed him a piece of an orange (which he usually eats) and he would not eat it. He was also a healthy hamster he ate and drank and ran on his wheel everyday and night.
