Ok so I have had this cat for a little over 24 hours. I received it from a woman who houses cats that she saves from shelters and gives them for adoption herself. She told me it was bonding with another cat so be aware that when I take it home it may stay behind the couch for a few days and not eat or drink and if he does this to bring him back after a week. But instead I brought him home & he explored the entire house &then began to jump on absolutely everything. The stove especially is what bothers us even when it's on! Not safe for him.I keep trying to say no and he has also developed this want to bite your toes or your fingers. I tap his head. I hiss. I move him. I put him in a carrier for a few minutes as a "punishment." He was constantly going by the one gallon fish tank almost knocking it over but I covered the tank so he stopped goin there as often. He follows me absolutely everywhere & anytime I close a door he meows non stop. Please help me calm this little kitty down
