I have 19 koi fish of different sizes in a pond in my garden. Its currently summer and the pond is in the shade with sun coming through to about one third of the pond. I feed them twice a day at 7 in the morning and 5 in the afternoon. I have a natural filtration system...the water is pumped into a dam and from the dam flows into 2 eco boxes... Over this summer I have lost about 10 koi. They had no marks on them, they just died. There are a few fish who have ulcers which I treated with this purpleish powder (can't think of the name right now) these fish are all fine...it seems to me that the koi who look the healthiest die first. What could be the problem?
