My fantail got his fins caught in the filter a couple months ago and was laying on the bottom, couldn't swim, and dying. I felt bad for him so I poisoned him with vodka (anesthetic + antiseptic) and then flushed him down the toilet. Ever since then, my black moor seems generally bored. He lays in the same spot on the gravel most of the time. Every once in a while he will swim around the tank for a minute or two but generally he just stays in that same spot. Should I get him another tank mate? Or maybe add some decorations to give him a little more fun? It's a 29 gallon tank with a 40 gallon filter. The water quality is fine, and he does this even after water changes. He is about a year to a year and a half old abd about 4" long from fin to head.
