My cat is a male and he is about 10 months old. I had to take him to the vet today because he swallowed one of my earrings. The vet gave him a medication that I don't remember the name of. It made him throw up and they were able to get the earring out. The medication they gave him sedated him instantly. He was unable to move by himself at all, he was like a limp rag doll. I am not too concerned about him at this point I just want to know how long I should expect it to take for the sedation to wear off. He has also peed himself and vomited since getting home. He still can't walk around or move a whole lot on his own. Is there anything I should watch out for or is there a certain point when I should set medical attention for him? I just have never had anything like this to any of my cats so I want to know what to expect and stuff. Thanks!!
