I have 3 cats and two large breed dogs. My family and I moved to Washington State in September from Indiana. Since moving, all of our animals have developed hair loss and skin irritation. They all are vaccinated and have been on constant flea prevention. There is no flea dirt on any of the animals. We took one of the dogs to the vet here when she first started to develop problems. They gave her antibiotic and a steroid. It helped a little, but not significantly. The vet did not have a good answer after we took her back. Now, all the animals have the same, or similar, problems. The apartment we live in is very old. We do not use harsh chemicals to clean. They are eating the same food. I worked in a veterinary office for three years and never saw anything like this in multiple animals. If anyone has an idea to what this might be, please enlighten me.
