What do you think is the minimum riding experience someone has to have before buying a horse?

What do you think is the minimum riding experience someone has to have before buying a horse? I just wanna know, I think a min of 1yr. What about if I got the horse then started taking lessons on my own horse? I already know how to care for a horse, Muck out stalls, groom, bathe, feed, water, and other things like that. I'm reading books about horse like, different diseases and health related subjects, about different breeds, how to take care of your first horse(you can never learn to much), how to buy your first horse, how to worm your horse, and other horse related books. I would be boarding until I had land, I want to take jumping lessons but they are to far away from me. But I would be getting a job and saving a lot of money for a horse, lessons, vet bills, and other necessities. I would be getting a horse a year from now or less, moving to TN (maybe)so I could buy land there or board and take lessons. Do they charge less on lessons if you board there? Anyways, I know there is gonna be A LOT of money, time, space, and things required to own a horse, the job is tough but you gotta do what you gotta do to own a life long companion. So what's you take on all of what I said? Congrats if you read all of it!
