I want to get my dog to bark. He RARLY barks. I can count on my fingers the amount of times he's barked on my fingers. And it's mostly been at other dogs to get them to play. He does whine and make the "doggy talking" noises but he never barks. He's a 14 month old GSD/Lab/Aussie/Golden Retriever (or so the DNA test said) but he deffinetly has GSD A guy with road rage cut infront of me so I couldn't move and then got out of his car banged on my Window and was acting aggressive. I can stay pretty calm in those situations, but I would of liked it if I could teach my dog "speak" cause as soon as my dog got up from the back seat and came to the from the man eased off. But then my dog just laid down in the front and the man when right back at it, a couple back off barks from my dog would have been nice, or even just on command hello barks. I don't want my dog to like non stop bark at everything but to bark every now and then or learn "speak" would be nice.
