We have 4 cats. 1 sterilized male and 3 females. All are over a year old now, but the one that shows affection is around 14 months. Here's how we got her.. We think this may play a part but we're not sure. My mum was coming home from the shops when she was approached by two young girls who had an emaciated, flea infested 6 week old (give or take) kitten in their hands. They were frustrated because they didn't have anywhere to take her so my mum brought her home. We de-flead and fattened her up and she was the most adorable kitten ever. She got to grow up with our other kitten who was a month or two older. Anyway, out of all 4 cats, she's the most affectionate one, always trying to be on you.. like Velcro, licking and nudging against you. We love it but we're curious as to why she's like this? Our other cats are affectionate as well (only to me really) but she's extremely social, comfortable and just a fairly calm and reliable cat, she never gets moody and always wants to snuggle. Any ideas as to why she's like this? ***We don't want her to change, just wondering why***
