Its been 3 days since the mother hamster gave birth to her babies. Is it normal for her to do the wheel more than normal not with her young? She also runs around the cage, does the wheel, gets off and runs around the cage (sometimes even just going on top her babies) etc. Im kinda worried she might abandoned them (maybe they are already..) The mom seldomly feeds her young and are hardly with them throughout the day. Even right now shes just spinning on the wheel. While the moms on the wheel the babies squirm around looking for their mother so they get split but at the end the mom ends up getting them together O.o i had a different hamster who gave birth but ate them all so i really hope to have a successful litter this time. Are these behaviors signs of abandonment? Or is it normal? Thanks!!
