Ok so I asked this question previously but I have more info now. My Dachshund has been acting very slow the last few days. When my Dog walks his right leg near the knee has a very slight lean towards the inside. On the outside of the knee and a bit above the knee it looks swollen. And when he stand his right leg is bent back kind oflike when a dog does a stretch but he's still standing on it. He also lowers his back when he does this. But the weird thing is it hurts him under the stomach and around his lower extremities. I don't know what to do right now. I am going to get him into a vet tomorrow. But for now what should I do? is there anything I can give him for pain? He doesn't yelp when he walks but if you touch near his legs or his lower stomach he yelps and screams and twitches. He doesn't come to you when you call him. And he wants to go away from everyone and hide. Earlier he was hiding behind the sink in the bathroom and I think he doesn't want us to touch him.
