My female cat can be extremely moody at times towards other people. She has never really been moody with me but I always have to worn people before they go near her because sometimes she will literally attack. She's never been abused or anything like that. She's just moody and has been since the day we got her. Sometimes she will be affectionate with people, but only on HER terms. She is okay with me, but I cannot count how many times she has scratched, clawed or full on attacked my boyfriend or other family members when they're just trying to pet her. The last incident was when my boyfriend and I were going to bed. I got in bed and my cat was laying on my boyfriend's side. He came to bed and went to pet her and cuddle with her and she freaked out and clawed his face. Of course she's not like this all the time. She can be extremely loving and cuddly when she wants to be. She's only moody about 30% of the time. Why is she so moody?
