My two tetras started doing this last week. They are constant laying on their side and doing flips, struggling out swim. I have 3 Corys that are fine. I tested the water and it showed very high levels of alkaline and a semi high pH. I have bought solution and some live plants to try to lower it but I have seen no change in the fish. Is this the problem or is it something else? And how can I lower the alkalinity for the future. I also want to add more fish to the aquarium as it's big and needs filled up, but I'm afraid the same thing could happen to them. Is there a certain fish that would work well in those conditions?
