During the winter my horse always seems to be very excited and playful whenever I ride her, in the summer, spring and fall she's an angel but I guess there's something about winter that makes her crazy! Like when we're cantering she'll randomly speed up, drop her head and start doing little bucks or sometimes she randomly throws her head or starts going in a really fast canter. She has been checked by a vet so I know pain is not the issue, my saddle fits and she doesn't need her teeth done. I think it's simply because she has lots of energy for whatever reason. Does anyone have any tips on how I can stop these little outbursts and what I should do when she does act up. I don't know if I should discipline her because I don't think she's doing it to be mean.
