The father dog is. He's very playful whenever I walk up to him, sometimes even making me almost fall over. But he's very scared of animals that move. Frogs, a hamster in a ball, and of course his own puppies. But shouldn't he notice their scent? When the pups aren't facing him, he'd smell them. But if they move or face him, he goes right into his house. The mother dog seems to dislike the father, so I guess that's another reason why the father's scared? Or is it just because my dog needs some time to get used to new things? It was only given to us. Since it was transported by a car, and had a new environment so suddenly, it was scared and shaking when we got it. Then it gradually grew up to be really big and grew really fast, due to his big appetite. The mother dog isn't bad tempered. It doesn't bite or anything. It just seems to not like the male dog that much since he's so playful whilst the female is so calm.
