I have a male cat around 3 years old.A couple months ago, I noticed his belly was slightly stiff in comparison to my other cat- who has a soft, squishy belly. At first, I believed that the difference was because one cat was made of muscle and the other just fat. For some reason, I decided to google this issue last night and I found all sorts of inquiries made by other people but none that matched my situation (most of them were female, possibly pregnant cats). As I mentioned, he is around 3 years old. He is an indoor cat that has not once left my apartment since I adopted him from the pound two years ago. His diet consists mainly of dry food and each night he gets a can of wet food. He has been using the litter box regularly and there are no worms in his feces that I can see. When he does use the litter box, he meows the whole time. There are no other oddities pertaining to his mannerisms or health that I am currently aware of. I will be taking him to the vet next week as a precaution but is anyone able to provide some insight into this?
